SHLB Releases Study on Cost to Connect Rural America



On February 15, 2018, the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition released a report by CTC Technology & Energy that estimated the cost to provide high-capacity broadband to rural areas to be less than $20 billion.  According to this report, "anchor institutions" could act as providers to distribute high-speed internet to surrounding users.
