WCB releases E-rate FY 2020 ESL
Yesterday, the Wireline Competition Bureau released the FY 2020 Eligible Services List.
The Bureau made the changes proposed in the Funding Year 2020 Eligible Services List Public Notice regarding the conditional eligibility of managed internal broadband services, caching, and basic maintenance of internal connections. Because the Commission made those services permanently eligible in the Category 2 order released last week, the Bureau removed the conditional language. In addition, the Bureau declined to make any further changes to the eligible services list.
The Bureau also authorized USAC to open the annual E-rate application filing window within 45 days of the Order. In the Category 2 order, the Commission had already waived the rule requiring that the ESL be published 60 days in advance of the opening of the filing window.
