FCC Announces New Form 477 Process

The FCC’s Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) will be launching a modernized Form 477 filing interface in July 2021. FCC Form 477 filers will need an individual CORES username and password to log in.

If you need a CORES username and password, you should visit the CORES homepage at https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do.  CORES video tutorials are available at https://www.fcc.gov/licensing-databases/fcc-registration-system-cores/commission-registration-system-video-tutorials.

As a reminder, the filing deadline for Form 477 data as of June 30, 2021, is September 1, 2021.

Accurate and timely submission of FCC Form 477 is mandatory for affected entities (see https://transition.fcc.gov/form477/WhoMustFileForm477.pdf for more information on who is required to submit the data).  Service providers that are required to file Form 477 but fail to do so may be subject to enforcement action under sections 502 and 503 of the Communications Act and any other applicable law.  Information on how to file Form 477 is available on the FCC’s Form 477 Resources for Filers webpage at https://www.fcc.gov/economics-analytics/industry-analysis-division/form-477-resources.
