Reminder: Deadline to File FCC Form 477 is September 1st

The filing deadline for Form 477 data as of June 30, 2021, is September 1, 2021.

As a reminder, accurate and timely submission of FCC Form 477 is mandatory for affected entities: (1) facilities-based providers of broadband connections to end users; (2) providers of wired or fixed wireless local exchanged telephone service; (3) providers of interconnected VoIPs service; and (4) facilities-based providers of mobile telephony (mobile voice) service.  See https://transition.fcc.gov/form477/WhoMustFileForm477.pdf for more information on who is required to submit the data.  

In July 2021, the FCC’s Office of Economics and Analytics (OEA) launched a modernized Form 477 filing interface.  FCC Form 477 filers will need an individual CORES username and password to log in.

Service providers that are required to file Form 477 but fail to do so may be subject to enforcement action under sections 502 and 503 of the Communications Act and any other applicable law.
