FCC Releases Proposed E-rate FY 2024 ESL; Comments Due in October

The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) released the Funding Year 2024 E-rate Eligible Services List (ESL) on September 12, 2023. 

Comments are due October 12, 2023; replies are due October 26, 2023.  The Bureau proposes to clarify that (1) the software necessary to operate or maintain Category One network equipment is eligible and (2) consulting fees not related to the installation and configuration of eligible components are ineligible.
